My name is Kent Bettley and I have lived in the Allen area for 40 years. I graduated from Allen High School, playing 3 years of Varsity Baseball and Football, part of the FFA, YoungLife, and Green Hand Skills Teams (welding/cutting metal). I earned a Baseball Scholarship to Tarleton State University and later graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas.
I have been fortunate enough to see this incredible area grow and now reside in McKinney (Allen ISD). Growing up alongside two Grandfathers that possessed highly skilled carpenter skills and an inventive mindset, has always instilled a burning love for building, creating, and solving problems.
My parents are both only children with no siblings, which left my two sisters and I without any true aunts, uncles and cousins. We learned at an earlier age that relationships and treating others better than we want to be treated, is so important in life. Our friends are our family!
With a passion in sports and helping others, I was an Elementary PE teacher and coached High School Baseball and Football in Lovejoy for 10 years. Any free time I had while coaching, I would find myself building and creating new things.
With my two children growing older, I decided to turn my burning love for building and helping others into a business; all at the same time of coaching my sons youth baseball, basketball and football teams.
My hobbies include spending time with my son Brooks (13), daughter Brecklyn (7), family, friends, sports, outdoors, camping, hunting, and sports memorabilia.
